Welcome!

Lo's Dance Production (LDP) is a dance team technique-based company that offers training to students in grades 6th-12th. LDP aims to fill the gap between studio training and dance team training by providing the necessary skills for students to succeed in joining a high school or collegiate dance team. Studios can retain their students while LDP offers specialized dance team technique training on a flexible schedule, whether it's once or twice a month.

Meet Lo!

BACKGROUND

Lauren Gant-Wilson is a native of Toledo, Ohio where she began dancing at the early age of 3. She grew up training at Inspire Dance Company in ballet, jazz and hip hop. Over the years she strongly gravitated towards hip hop as one of her favorite styles. During her competitive years, Lauren won numerous solo regional titles as well as receiving several scholarships to conventions such as KAR and Tremaine Dance Convention. In high school, she danced for the Sylvania Southview Cougarettes, where they won multiple state titles throughout her four years on the team. During her time as a Cougarette, Lauren and her teammates were granted the opportunity to perform at halftime at the Orange Bowl alongside The Goo Goo Dolls in 2011.

COACHING

In late summer of 2023, Lauren was named one of the Assistant Coaches for the University of Michigan Dance Team. During her first year at Michigan, she helped in several aspects from practices to game days and even their UDA nationals preparation. Lauren was also named the Head Coach of Lourdes University competitive dance team in the late summer of 2021, charged with reinstating the program this past season of 2023. Prior to Lourdes, Lauren served as head coach for the Sylvania Southview Cougarettes from 2018 - 2023. The last two years of her coaching career at Southview she led the team to back to back state championship titles at the OASSA State Championship in Large Pom and with her choreography in Large Jazz.

CHOREOGRAPHY

Her choreography career kicked off shortly after high school choreographing for local studios and high schools in Toledo, Ohio. She choreographed two state winning jazz routines for the Sylvania Southview Cougarettes in 2022 and 2023, along with placing top 5 with her hip hop choreography from 2021-2023. Her most recent work was choreographing halftime at the Valero Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, Texas in December of 2022. Lauren continues to choreograph and do master classes to spread her love and passion all throughout the dance community. Lauren has big dreams and continues to educate herself so she can continue to grow as a coach and a choreographer.
